Wendy Dean - Mosaics at Heart
I am a professional artist working in mosaic. I love collecting and assembling found objects and unusual treasures, adding my own interpretation to achieve my finished pieces. I enjoy using mosaic to breathe new life into what others might throw away and letting individual items lead me to new ideas and creations. I want my pieces to bring a bit of fun and happiness to the viewer.
I work on a mixture of my own pieces, commissions and have completed over 60 larger mural projects with schools and community groups. I also work on international mosaic projects. I specialise in personalised pieces for special events and occasions. I run regular workshops and classes form my Mosaics at Heart studio in Catford.
