I spent six years at art colleges in Norwich, Maidstone and Leicester, followed by art teaching at secondary schools, Youth Work, Adult Education and more recently art and craft therapeutic/occupational work with patients in Lewisham. This was part of my work as a counsellor/psychotherapist. Since retirement I have been able to return to my art practice which includes painting, drawing, college, assembling objects on materials like slate, wood, driftwood and tiles, macrame plant hangers, origami birds and animals and cards.
For many years I was engaged in a 120 metre visual biography which culminated in an exhibition at the Tavistock & Portman NHS Foundation Trust in 2025. I've shown my artwork in various venues in North and South London and am part of the Sprout Arts Collective.
