I draw portraits and figures primarily in fine liner pen. The work is a distinctive monochrome, ranging from the simplicity of line to incredible fine detail. I aim to inject humour into my work, whilst commenting on the absurdity of our existence. I also work in oil paint, using a muted palette in my portraiture.The best art casts a sardonic sideways glance at the overlooked banalities of life and portrays moments that are not usually depicted in figurative art.
