I hand-build ceramic pots. The majority are one-off designs or are part of a limited number of copies of my own design. Due to the hand built nature, each pot tends to have its own character and be quite individual. I work in both stoneware and earthenware clays and use a variety of underglazes, slips and glazes to decorate the pots.
I take inspiration for my designs from my ever growing collection of houseplants, my garden, other art forms and my surroundings in SE London. I often use found objects and flora from my garden to create imprints or texture in the clay before it is fired.
